With the latest release of suppliesMGR for Long Term Care, Physicians, and Surgery Centers, MedProcure has integrated a new barcode scanner which is the same size as the CS1504 "FOB" scanner and holds up to 10,000 scans (compared to 150 on the previous scanner). The new scanner by Opticon is the OPN2001, and has the added benefit of using a simple USB cable and allows re-charging of the battery over the USB. No changes at all are needed except to run the installer for the new driver and plug in your scanner. Contact Us for more information.

ContractMGR will be released at the MedAssets Healthcare business Summit meeting at Mandalay Bay in LasVegas April 5-9. ContractMGR is a contract management solution for the Alternate Care market, allowing Long term Care Facilities, Surgery Centers, and Physicians Clinics to simply upload or input items that they currently buy and discover within minutes whether or not a contract is available for those items and whether they are buying that item on contract or not.
ContractMGR is built from the Provider's perspective allowing them to easily input either distributor part numbers or manufacturer part numbers, then discover contracts dynamically through a simple confirmation process. Once complete, a "redlight/greenlight" formulary is maintained, allowing the provider to review at a glance what items need to be adjusted.
MedProcure has also tightly integrated ContractMGR with our other solutions, enabling the Provider to "publish" their formulary to ConnectMGR for ordering, scanning and automated invoice analysis. |

MedProcure has announced that we are fully commited to implementation and facilitation of the GS1 standard for exchanging information between supply chain partners in healthcare. GPOs and manufacturers in the industry have set sunrise dates for the implementation of location numbers (GLN) as well as universal product numbers (GTIN) to help reduce the cost of healthcare.
MedProcure echoes the belief that an adoption of standards reduces cost in the supply chain and improves efficiencies. We have begun the process of becoming GS1 compliant by completing the implementation of the GLN and GTIN into our core architectures, enabling any trading partner to transact electronically using these standards. |

MedProcure, LLC Announces the release of their latest version of suppliesMGR solutions.
Our latest release includes lots of changes to the FOB scanner synchronization module. When it comes to scanning charges with FOB scanner, life just got alot easier. In addition to handling scanning errors better, we have also added support functions that allow the scanner contents to be read easily; we now allow for clearing the scanner if there is a major error; and most importantly we have handled the most common scanning mistakes automatically, requiring little if any input from teh user.
We have also made changes to reports in our LTC solution. The newest report is a concise export balance report that displays the export values of charges in the same layout and order that you would see them in the importing software, making balance reconciliation a breeze.
In addition to the release of new versions of suppliesMGR-LTC, suppliesMGR-MD, and suppliesMGR-SC, we have added new features to ConnectMGR including muliple vendor capabilities and a multiple tab screen for open Purchase Orders, enabling quick purchase order review and approvals. Also we have continued expansion of our multiple site functionality in ConnectMGR and now have the ability to publish formularies to all sites in teh group with a single button.

Our latest release includes a wide range of new features including expanded integration with ConnectMGR, our contract pricing management portal. Add alternate fields, manage GPO contracts, update pricing dynamically, send electronic orders to more vendors, and even use our small FOB scanner for more uses than just building purchase orders. Additionally, we have improved our Purchase order management process to include expanded features for PO Receiving, and more user friendly three way invoice matching.
In addition to the release of new versions of suppliesMGR-LTC, suppliesMGR-MD, and suppliesMGR-SC, we have added new features to ConnectMGR including an easy to use Quick Scan feature that allows use of our FOB scanner with Quick Orders, bypassing installation of a complete software solution on the desktop.
